History
The Ozark Mountains
Mount Eagle Camp and Retreat Center began April 27, 1970 with the purchase of 1,000 acres. In 1980, additional property was bought to bring the total acres up to 1,002. Early years consisted of tent camping with the occasional RV, and local churches and district groups working to clean debris, buildings, fences, and ranch equipment to make the property usable for those groups and future groups.
Fast forward to 1989 when Kaetzell Lodge was the first building constructed on the property. The site officially became Mount Eagle Christian Center in 1995. Since then, Mount Eagle has continued to add buildings, programs, and resources to make Mount
Eagle the beautiful Retreat Center that it is today.
With every guest that comes to Mount Eagle, our mission is the same:
To provide Christian Hospitality with opportunities for Holy listening.
